Gold-filled jewelry is created through a heating process by bounding a thick layer of gold onto a base metal, usually brass or copper. Gold-filled contains 5% of solid gold, compared to 0.5% for gold-plated jewelry, which makes them last much longer and is safe for sensitive skin.

Caring For Your Jewelry...

To clean, use a jewelry polishing cloth, wipe away any dirt and chemicals on the jewelry, and safely store it in a box or pouch to keep it dry.
